About Us
Who We Are
Glorious Future Foundation is a faith-driven, community-based Christian NGO serving vulnerable children, families and elderly individuals across Uganda — for the glory of God and so that all people may come to know Christ.
Born during the COVID-19 pandemic out of a deep sense of calling and compassion, the Foundation was founded by Pr. Deus Kananura Kasaati and his wife Pr. Kelen Kananura, and was officially registered as a non-governmental organization in Uganda in 2023.
We walk with communities through pastoral care, education support, food assistance, empowerment and elderly care — restoring hope, nurturing faith and creating real opportunities for a transformed future.

Restoring Dignity Through Basic Needs
This project aims to uplift vulnerable children in underserved communities across Uganda by providing essential items such as mattresses, bedding, clothing, and shoes.

Safe Homes, Restored Dignity for the Elderly
Across underserved communities in Uganda, many elderly individuals live in conditions of extreme vulnerability, lacking family support, safe shelter, and basic care. At Glorious Future Foundation, we encounter elderly men and women who sleep on cold floors, in deteriorating structures, or even in church premises due to a lack of a safe place to call home. These conditions not only threaten their physical health but also diminish their dignity and sense of belonging. It is imperative that we address this urgent need to protect and empower our senior citizens.

No Child Hungry: Community Nutrition Support
Hunger remains a daily reality for many vulnerable children and families in underserved communities across Uganda. What began as an emergency response during the COVID-19 pandemic has now become an ongoing need—one that continues to affect orphaned children, low-income households, and elderly individuals who lack consistent access to nutritious food.

Education Access for Vulnerable Children
Access to education remains one of the most powerful pathways out of poverty; however, many children in underserved communities across Uganda are unable to attend school due to financial constraints. At Glorious Future Foundation, we consistently encounter orphaned and vulnerable children who are eager to learn but are held back by their inability to afford school fees, uniforms, bags, and essential learning materials. This situation not only limits their educational opportunities but also stifles their potential and aspirations.

Clean Water, Healthy Lives Initiative
Access to clean and safe water is essential for life, health, and dignity. However, at Glorious Future Foundation, the current water source—a manual borehole—is outdated and no longer sufficient to meet the growing needs of children, staff, and the surrounding community. Long waiting times, limited output, and physical strain in water collection have made access to clean water increasingly difficult.

Don’s Journey
From Vulnerability to Hope
Don is a 6-year-old boy born HIV-positive who lost his mother at a very young age, leaving him in the care of his grandmother who struggled to meet his medical and basic needs due to extreme poverty. His health and future were at serious risk until Glorious Future Foundation stepped in to provide consistent medical care, proper nutrition, and a safe, supportive environment where he now lives alongside his brother. Today, Don is healthier, growing with confidence, and dreaming of becoming a pilot—proof that with the right support, a vulnerable child can regain hope and build a brighter future.
